Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese alternative therapy with a focus on energy healing. The word “Reiki” is derived from the Japanese words “rei” which means “universal” and “ki” which means “life force energy”. It is believed that the therapy helps restore balance to the body’s energy fields, promoting physical, mental and emotional healing.

How can Mind school help you?
For individuals, I can help you learn more about looking after your own wellbeing and setting goals that suit. I can help you see clearly where you are right now, create a vision for where you want to go and make a plan to get you to your destination. You will gain new perspectives and gain skills in personal resilience and have a greater awareness into your own mental wellbeing.
Is it like counselling?
In short no it is nothing like counselling. Both counselling and CBT help individuals to gain a conscious understanding of the problem initially by talking through the detail with a practitioner – whereas NLP approach, which I use doesn’t always require the individual to share at length or work on problems openly in order for it to be successful, which many individuals prefer.
Why do you use a mixture of different therapies?
I use a variety of techniques based on the best available research and consider someone’s unique values, characteristics, goals, and circumstances.
Where does the therapy take place?
The therapy can take place at my home, over the internet or at your home. Whichever is the most suited to yourself.
How many sessions are advised?
My aim is to get you to where you want to be as quickly as possible. Everyone is different and responds differently to different therapies. Normally between 1-4 sessions is advised but some people may only require one session. This is heavily dependent on what we are working on.
Are you insured and do you have a DBS?
Yes – I am covered by Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance. I have also hold an up to date DBS check, which can be seen on request.
